Our discipline policy focuses on positive reinforcement and redirecting the child to a more constructive activity. If a child’s misbehavior becomes excessive, we will discuss with you how we can work as a team to help your child respond in more appropriate ways. Positive behavior is acknowledged, limits are clearly established and when necessary, redirection will be initiated.

Setting good boundaries is designed to promote the development of self-control and self direction. We accomplish this by using consistency, firmness, sensitivity and follow-through.

We believe in positive reinforcement as a form of
discipline. This approach is used in all of our centers.
We follow these basic guidelines for discipline:

  • Be fair and consistent
  • Praise each child every day for something
  • There is always something to love in each child
